Breast Reduction
Excess fat and tissue may accumulate in the breast, especially during adolescence. This can lead to weight gain, misalignment of the spine and back pain. Unfortunately, breasts perceived as too large can also lead to a loss of self-confidence. All of these can correct the size of the breasts with a breast reduction operation, adapting it to the rest of the body.

How is breast reduction surgery performed?
Our experienced surgeon will explain in detail what specific technique will make sense for your personal physical factors and special preferences when reducing the size of your breasts.
The most common method is by three incisions. A cross-section around the nipple is discarded. Another is placed vertically from the lower edge of the nipple to inframammary lines. Third, it follows the natural inframammary line.
The surgeon first removes excess breast tissue, fat and skin. It then relocates the nipple in a higher position. The nipple, which is usually stretched on large breasts, has now shrunk. Liposuction can be used to correct the contour remaining under the arms.

Before breast reduction surgery:
-
One month before the procedure, you should stop smoking and aspirin-like blood thinners. Also do not take vitamins B and E.
-
In exceptional cases, a mammogram should be performed one week before the operation, a complete blood count should be performed and an ECG should be performed.
-
The day before breast reduction surgery, your authorized surgeon will inform you and enlighten you about all the details.
Is breast augmentation suitable for you?
If your breasts are too large, this can lead to physical ailments, especially back pain and spinal deformities. In addition, excess weight can negatively affect the shoulders and cause pain. In addition, the sweat glands under the breast can cause excessive itching and rashes. Breast reduction surgery can be a good solution to gain more self-confidence, even if you find your breasts too large, even from a purely aesthetic point of view, or even if you are uncomfortable with asymmetric breasts.
