Rhinoplasty

If you have difficulty breathing, snoring, or nasal pronunciation problems, a nose operation can save you all your problems. In such cases, a medical intervention is essential. From an aesthetic point of view, nose surgery (rhinoplasty) can completely change your facial expression in a positive direction.

You should quit smoking about a month before surgery.
You should also stop taking aspirin-like blood thinners a month before intervention.
The day before your nose surgery, you will travel to Istanbul and stay in a nearby 5-star hotel.

As soon as you wake up from the anaesthetic, you’ll be taken care of. Our nurses and carers will move you quickly to balance your circulation.
Of course, medications (antibiotics, painkillers and sleeping pills) will be given to you to the extent necessary.
Five days after the surgery, the plastic surgeon in charge will check your nose, remove the splint and put on a tape for the return flight to Germany.
6-7 days after the operation, you can fly back to Germany.
Do not smoke for two weeks after the intervention and do not use aspirin-like blood thinners.
No pressure should be applied to the nose for four weeks. This means you can’t wear sunglasses.
You should avoid heavy movements and sports that will strain your body for six weeks.
The swelling that occurs will pass at the end of about three months.

You’ll be in your room at the hospital.
Our doctors will give you a full checkup and a full blood test will be performed and an ECG should be performed.
Your responsible anesthesiologist and surgeon will talk to you in detail. In the meantime, you can revisit for your questions, fears and concerns, if any.
As soon as your blood values are ready, a sedative is given if it is deemed necessary.
After that, general anesthesia is initiated.
